Green Waste Removal Services
- We deliver your garden bag and stand - for free!
- You choose how often you would like the bag collected - every 4 weeks or every 8 weeks (8 weekly collections are not suitable for lawn clippings).
- We provide you with a fridge calendar so you know when to expect bag collection. You can also visit our calendar page to check.
- Costs start at just $22 per collection (for a 4 week collection).
- You can have as many bags as you need.
- Should you not require your bag to be emptied, simply let us know before collection day and a credit for that collection will be applied to your next invoice.
- We charge quarterly in advance for all scheduled collections as per the invoicing months on the calendar.
- Customers can change to a different collection cycle at any time (provided appropriate notice is given). Any cost adjustments will be made on your next quarterly invoice.
- We offer flexible payment options. Pay by cash, cheque, Paypal or direct deposit. Pre-payments of a whole year receive a discount.

1. Please don't overfill the bag
The frame of the bag is your indicator of capacity. The top flaps of the garden bag must be able to be folded over the top, allowing the bag to be closed off. This is not only necessary to stop the spill of waste, but also for the safety of our collection team. Any protruding twigs, thorns or palm fronds can pose a safety hazard to our family when we are handling the bags.
2. Please stay within the weight limit of the bag
A garden bag can weigh between 100-150kg once it is filled. Garden Bags Whitsunday use trolleys to transport the bags from your yard to our truck, and an overweight bag poses a safety risk to our team. They will not be collected, so please be mindful of the bag's weight when you are filling it; if you can't physically grab your bag with 2 hands and move it then it is clearly too heavy.
If a bag is overfilled or overweight, we will leave a second bag at your property. This allows you to distribute the garden waste between the two bags. We can then collect both bags at the next scheduled collection time.
Your garden bag is not the place to dispose of food scraps, concrete or building materials, loose papers and recyclables, cans, excess fruit or animal waste.
3. Damaged/Missing frames and bags
If frames and/or bags go missing or are damaged, it is the customers responsibility to pay for the equipment.
